Tips to reduce meeting costs
Cut the guest list
Every extra attendee multiplies the cost. Only invite people who need to make decisions or provide input — everyone else can read the notes afterward.
Set a hard time limit
Default 60-minute meetings are rarely necessary. Try 25 or 15 minutes instead. Shorter meetings force sharper agendas and faster decisions.
Replace with async updates
Status updates, weekly check-ins, and FYI meetings can almost always be replaced with a shared doc, a Loom video, or a Slack thread — saving everyone's calendar.
